LUMINAL

Luminal is the brand name for the drug phenobarbital, a barbiturate tranquilizer. Used to treat sleep, seizure, and anxiety disorders, Luminal is generally safe when taken with a physician’s supervision, although barbiturates have generally been phased out of use due to the risks of overdose and addiction.
