KADIAN

Kadian is an extended-release form of morphine, one of the most powerful opioid drugs. Used to treat severe pain, Kadian is safe when used under a physician’s instructions. 

Kadian abuse, on the other hand, is dangerous. Morphine is highly addictive; like other opioid drugs it’s easy to build up a resistance to Kadian’s effects. Having to take more and more of the drug to feel the same effects is a hallmark symptom of Kadian abuse. Kadian’s strength means overdose is a constant risk. 

Kadian addiction can be very hard to treat. Kadian withdrawal can be long and unpleasant, especially when done outside of a clinical setting. Detox, done professionally, can make Kadian withdrawal easier to handle.
