HYCODAN

Hycodan is the brand name for a combination of hydrocodone, an opioid painkiller, and a medication intended to combat abuse. Used as a cough suppressant, Hycodan medications appear in both tablet and capsule form. 

Additive aside, Hycodan is still an opioid drug. All opioids can create feelings of peace, relaxation, and euphoria when abused. Hycodan carries risks of tolerance and overdose as users have to take larger amounts of Hycodan to feel the same effects over time. Hycodan withdrawal, as is the case with all opioids, can be unpleasant and complex as well. 

Hycodan addiction can be treated, but it must start with professionally administered detox in a clinical setting.
