DUODIN

A brand name for a combination of acetaminophen and the opioid painkiller hydrocodone, Duodin is prescribed to treat moderate to severe pain. The combination of the two drugs makes Duodin effective at treating pain at lower doses, making it a less-risky option for patients. 

However, like all opioids Duodin can be addictive when abused. Drug abuse covers everything from using prescriptions recreationally to continuing to use a prescription after it’s no longer needed. There’s an additional risk to Duodin abuse: acetaminophen can cause serious injury when taken in high amounts.
